About the Job:

As a Senior Cargo Sales and Services Agent you will be responsible for generating maximum cargo sales in order to meet or exceed the set revenue/tonnage target for stations while ensuring smooth flow of cargo operations. 

You will provide customer service including interaction with customers and Ground Handling Agents (GHA) for Qatar Airways (QR) Cargo, both import and export. You will secure both operational and customer service support to enable station to meet and exceed the set cargo targets. You will ensure full compliance at all times with safety and security regulations as per local governmental and company requirements. You will identify needs and improve cargo services and operational performance for the local station. 

Accountability :

  • Contribute to achieve maximum cargo sales by providing excellent cargo operations and customer service support.
  • Support import customers for clearance of their cargo. Liaise with customs authorities, liaise with head office (HO) Doha and origin stations for necessary support.
  • Flight planning and maximum utilization of flight capacity, control and operations export and import.
  • Coordinate with customers, cargo claims supervisors at HO, handling of discrepancies and all administrative issues at the station.
  • Strict control and administration of ULD stock and cargo stationary in coordination with the GHA.
  • Provide support to finance pertaining to invoicing/follow ups to comply with finance policies.
  • Assist in facilitating coordination between IATA/CASS and cargo offices within the station region.


About You:

You must have a trade, vocational, high school  or equivalent education certificate. A minimum of 3 years of job related experience is required and proven experience in Cargo Sales & Cargo Systems will be an added advantage. You must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel Power Point and Access) and should possess good understanding of TACT rules and IATA regulations. Communication skills and good command of English language is very much required in this role.  

You must currently be legally eligible to live and work in Frankfurt, Germany.
