Are you looking for a new challenge and a chance to provide family centered midwifery care in a rural setting?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a midwife to join the maternity team located in Cowal Community Hospital in Dunoon. Care is provided within our unit in Dunoon and in home settings throughout the Cowal Peninsula.

You will be named midwife to a caseload of women and work as a member of a small team delivering antenatal, postnatal and intrapartum care to a caseload of around 120 women per year. The midwifery service provides care over 7 days and there is an on-call committment to provide care out of hours.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Cowal and Bute to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
