You will be the lead developer and manage day-to-day activities of the software team to ensure each project remains on schedule and on budget. Providing routine status reports to management is crucial. Essential duties and job responsibilities:
  • Develop new and enhance existing software using .Net and SQL server
  • Collaborate with the architects, developers, business analysts and company executives in order to determine the software's technical direction, system design and implementation plan
  • Create, maintain and track project plans and schedules, cost estimates and problem logs throughout the life of the project
  • Assist with multiple teams and projects ensuring that project goals are achieved according to project plans, and in accordance with project priorities
  • Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to developers and programmers while resolving internal conflicts
  • Consistently communicates progress, obstacles, and growth opportunities to the stakeholders (development team, product team), and management team
  • Experience balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints and managing expectations
  • Other common tasks include allocating company resources, conducting software team meetings, troubleshooting technical issues, and facilitating the deployment of software upgrades

Qualifications
 
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years’ experience in software development
  • Experience coding in one .NET and SQL Server.
  • Experience working in Agile as well as Waterfall environment
  • Candidate must be analytical, organized, and adept at working in a team environment, able to plan and execute a project, and be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment
  • Candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in leading technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding user base
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
