  • The Talent and Learning Team consult across the Asia Pacific franchise, aiming to maximize organizational performance to meet current and future business objectives
  • This is achieved by partnering with the business to identify opportunities and initiatives relating to the development of capability, talent, and leaders; diversity and inclusion; and business performance
  • Our team is responsible for identifying, analyzing, sourcing/developing, implementing, and evaluating solutions for businesses, in full partnership and collaboration with relevant business leaders, HR and regional/global colleagues

Job Responsibilities:

  • Form close, collaborative and trusted relationships with business leaders, HR seniors and regional/global Talent & Learning (T&L) team members – ensuring strong, proactive communication links exist to all stakeholders
  • Understand the business, market/country and HR needs and priorities, collaborate with the business, HR Advisors (HRAs), Recruiting, L&D, Talent & Diversity partners, external partners etc., regionally and globally, to create and execute the Talent Management, culture, D&I, L&D, executive development, and human capital strategy aligned to these needs. Manage analytics and reporting, execution, and evaluation for all elements of the strategy
  • Accountable for the initiation, implementation, communication and measurement of key strategies and processes relating to a strong diverse bench of future leaders including talent review/succession planning, diversity, talent development, performance management, etc.
  • Partner closely with HRAs, Campus, Program Management and Diversity, to manage, evaluate and enhance high potential development programs to build internal talent pipeline (selection, assessment, assignment management/mobility, retention initiatives, training, off-program placement, performance management and career counselling); manage high potential program nominations for global and regional programs
  • Partner with other HR teams for the production of senior slates and ensure right people in the right roles at the right time
  • In partnership with the business and key HR partners, identify, assess, coach, and develop a strong diverse talent pool for the Bank of the future.
  • Identify, assess and articulate a learning need, then source and deliver the curriculum/program/solution to address an individual, team, or organizational opportunity or gap
  • Identify the need for external specialists/vendors, then source, brief, and evaluate the vendor (including executive coaches)
  • Leverage data to identify opportunities and provide insights for the business on potential areas of focus and initiatives (identifying future roles/ resources; succession and development requirements)

Qualifications
 
  • Extensive experience in project management, communications or related in a global environment, with complex stakeholder groups
  • Previous experience in talent management strategy and/or diversity and/or learning & development is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate, challenge and influence internal stakeholders at various levels in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent consulting skills, and client relationship management skills to partner effectively with senior business leaders and HR partners. Ability to manage expectations and value diverse opinions
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated expertise in executing impactful, effective and innovative solutions
  • Capable of performing effectively in complex situations with limited guidance, and unafraid to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to prioritize multiple multi-geography concurrent projects and adapt to rapidly evolving and changing priorities; resilient and flexible
  • Displays initiative, with a strong desire to learn the business and stay up to date with developments in areas of expertise, as well as external industry developments
  • Expert facilitation and presentation experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor degree in related field is preferred
