As a Regional Cargo Product Manager - Asia, you will be responsible to manage the cargo sales and marketing activities of Qatar Airways Cargo Product in the assigned region. You will ensure Qatar Airways (QR) product awareness across the region amongst team members, suppliers, partners and customers as per requirements in conjunction with QR local team. You will plan all product related selling and marketing activities of the region and penetrate the regional market to secure new sources of revenue, while maintaining existing flows.
You will ensure QR's participation in trade related sales campaigns and public events, collecting sales leads for circulation to concerned departments and stations. You will liaise with marketing department to obtain assistance.
To join our team in this role you will need a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of job related experience in Airline /Airfreight Sales Management. You should have experience in cargo sales and marketing and a strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot market and industry trends.
You will have strong experience in Sales and Strategic planning with complete product knowledge and the market practices of the areas under jurisdiction. You will have proven experience negotiating and working within a multi-cultural environment. You should also have knowledge on IATA chapter 17 regulations and knowledge of GDP regulations.
Previous Air Cargo sales or business development experience will be strongly preferred.Note: you will be required to attach the following:
