Description
 
  • Ensures alignment of IS program with business strategy
  • Drives constructive procedural changes to ensure effective risk-based implementation of IS requirements
  • Summarizes the IS status to the business in business terms
  • Oversees compliance with all business IS program elements, policies, standards, and guidelines; e.g., CISS
  • Establishes relationships with business managers and is consulted as a subject matter expert in multiple areas
  • Proactively manages risk and control through the identification, escalation, and solution development for compliance and audit issues including direct interaction and coordination with internal control officers
  • Provide oversight of business unit issue remediation activities
  • Manage and support the completion of regular business unit IS actions, including Enterprise Entitlement Review System, Third Party IS Assessments, ISRA etc.
  • Support business units with their disclosure, recognition of control issues, including the review of all evidence to ensure that issues are managed to consistently high standards
  • Contribute to, interpret and disseminate IS policy, standards and awareness throughout the business units
  • Additional ad-hoc IS & Risk related initiatives and projects

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable; solid Technology background, Information Security and project management background
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM Certification or equivalent security certificate preferred
  • 5-10 years of Information Security, Technology Risk management and Audit experience
  • Solid experience in system architecture, infrastructure security, application security and technology risk. Knowledge of latest new technology (for example mobile security, big data, clouding etc) is highly preferred
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and present findings and potential solutions in plain-English to various levels of management
  • Experience in security-related project development and skills with ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment. Capability of managing cross function projects is expected
  • Strong knowledge of key issues regarding IT Security and Information Risk Management (Data Security, Endpoint Security, Record Retention, Data Privacy etc)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capability
  • Self-motivated and Reliable team player who can work under pressure
