Team/Position Overview:


Trade Treasury Services TTS provides transaction and banking services to Citi’s Institutional Clients, and is truly a global organisation, having a presence in over 100 countries.  TTS is one of the strongest businesses at Citi, delivering consistent quarter-on-quarter profitability and growth. 
The TTS Dublin Technology team offers a unique opportunity to work closely with product, operations and innovation teams globally, to build the next generation of global platforms across a number of business lines and technologies.


WorldLink Technology – Global Business Engineering team is responsible for gathering the Functional Requirements (FRD’s) from corresponding BRD’s spanning across the multiple releases throughout the calendar year.  The WorldLink product is Citi’s primary cross currency payments capability allowing clients to efficiently make payments from their primary currency to beneficiaries in over 135 currencies.  With payments being made to over 190 countries, the WorldLink suite of applications deals in numerous payment formats (ISO, SWIFT, SEPA etc) and caters for country specific regulations across a wide variety of products (Wires, Cheques, ACH, Cash etc).  This provides a successful candidate with the capability to become an SME on multiple flows, products and formats.

 

The Global Business Engineering Team is responsible for:

  • Working with our partners to complete clear and concise requirements within the proposed timelines
  • Provide walkthroughs of FRD’s to our stakeholders
  • Provide genuine value to the Business during BRD reviews
  • Provide factual value add to the Testing teams during Test Case reviews
  • Collaborate with our stakeholders during design sessions

The team by definition is Global with its presence ranging from Pune (India), Buffalo/Jersey (US) and Dublin (IR).  The roles in Dublin are new and we’re looking for the site to add value to the product to coincide with our existing US and India sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with various business units to analyse and define requirements to develop the service/product that meets the strategic needs of the Business
  • Collaborate and define solutions for each project including documenting the functional design and Use Case diagrams.
  • Document the Functional Requirement Document (and other related documents) per TTS standards
  • Own the Solution during the SDLC ensuring a successful release into Production within the agreed timescales.
  • Review test scenarios, triage defects and provide solutions
  • Support Development, SIT, UAT and Implementation teams in all stages of SDLC


 


Qualifications
 

Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive  years of relevant work experience
  • Background in accounting, finance and payments industry
  • Demonstrated evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes and system flows; experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems within the payments environment
  • Working knowledge on Transaction/Payment processing and the payment industry
  • Working knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, low-value and high-value such as ACH, Wires, Checks, SEPA etc (preferably in-depth knowledge of implementing solutions that process these types of payments)
  • End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple layers of complexity.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and be able to present information and analysis clearly and concisely.
  • Experience driving small to medium sized cross functional projects.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Maintains composure in the face of highly ambiguous environments and constant change
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
