Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role to provide contemporary, individualised clinical care at a level commensurate with experience through application of nursing standards in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse. Demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and problem solving skills in the delivery of nursing care to patients/clients with post acute care needs within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse role. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. This temporary full time position will offer the Registered Nurse an opportunity to complete the full requirements for initial Credentialing with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association to be eligible to claim Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) status
