Job Background/context

The Programme Delivery team is responsible for managing all projects within the FX Technology team. This includes end-to-end ownership of all technology aspects including connectivity, management of specific client builds and deep involvement with application development teams


Job Purpose:

The Program delivery team is a vibrant, energetic team that has a presence in EMEA, US and Asia. We are seeking an experienced PMO / Reporting specialist, who will support the team with managing budgets and financials within PTS, creating a wide range of management reports and PowerPoint presentations. This critical role requires someone who appreciates that while it’s important to provide accurate information, it’s also important that the messages are tailored to the audience, as well, many of whom are very senior. An additional component of this role will be to monitor additional projects to ensure compliance with the ICG Technology Program and Project Management Procedures. In an effort to make projects more transparent, the individual will provide oversight on Risks/Issues, Financials, Milestones, Document compliance with correct templates and roadmap definition across the FX entity and will be required to report on same on a consistent basis.

The role would suit an individual with a broad range of experience, a detailed approach to problem solving, and an analytical mind.

The ideal candidate would have existing experience using PTS or a similar application, and deep exposure working with finance, pmo and management teams.

Job Responsibilities / Role:

The requirements and responsibilities for the role include (but are not limited to) the following:

         The successful management and timely delivery quality stakeholder and Senior management reporting on a multi topic and ad hoc basis.

         To proactively manage and take ownership of all PMO related activities as defined by the ICG Program & Project Management Procedure.

         To proactively manage and report on key milestones across the FX Technology Team to ensure proper adherence to RAG status, updates and risks associated to same.

         Maintaining financial forecasts and budgets for headcount across the FX tech team primarily with the use of the Portfolio Tracking System (PTS).

         The management and control of all new PMO requirements within the in-house development environments.

         To act as the central point of liaison, communications and coordination between technical teams and other stakeholders throughout the program life cycle to ensure compliance to the PMO processes.

         To maintain overall control and accountability for the scheduled program/project related documentation and to ensure and continue FX Techs continued success with PMO scorecards.

         To demonstrate knowledge of the underlying technology stack and supported/related business area.

         To build and maintain effective relationships with partners across Technology, Operations and Product.

         Identify issues, risks, dependencies and assumptions within the PMO space to ensure timely and proper delivery of our milestones and projects.

         Provide oversight on Risks/Issues, Financials, Milestones, Document compliance with correct templates androadmap definition across the FX entity and will be required to report on same on a consistent basis.


Qualifications
 

Knowledge/Experience:

Requirements:

         Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

         Willingness and enthusiasm to absorb new information quickly and understand different business areas and Technologies

         Prior experience using PTS (for financials) would be a strong plus

         A delivery-focused approach with a high level of attention to detail

         Exceptional Interpersonal and relationship building Skills

         Experience of delivering complex TECHNOLOGY projects involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations with a significant amount of uncertainty.

         Previous experience in, and knowledge of the TTS, FX businesses.

         Proven ability to deliver quality reporting to senior management and stakeholders on a regular and multi topic basis.

         An expert and creative problem solver and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and uncertain environment.

          Strong technical background – able to come up to speed and understand differing technologies quickly.


Technical Skills Required:

 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

 

·         Self Starter who has the ability to get up to speed quickly

·         Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

·         Prior experience using PTS (for financials) would be a strong plus

·         Ability to adapt in a fast moving and changing environment with ability to priorities tasks when required.

·         Ability to build new and strengthen existing relationships across the organization.

·         A delivery-focused approach with a high level of attention to detail

·         Willingness and enthusiasm to absorb new information quickly and understand different business areas and

Technologies


Qualifications:

  • Degree level or higher specifically within a finance or technology related field
  • At least 3-5 years working in a finance role or technology role ideally within the Foreign Exchange space
