Service Owner Monitoring and Logging as a Service (MONaaS and LaaS)


Role Purpose:

  • Oversee development and management of relevant services / teams, and be accountable for quality delivery of the service
  • Understand sector demand and expectations from stakeholders, and appropriately plan for service development and delivery
  • Report service performance / major risks and issues to Head of Cloud Operations Organization 
  • Implement Cloud Operating Model including workforce transformation from traditional operations to SRE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own MONaaS and LaaS service offering roadmap, feature, and functionality definition
  • Build and manage global delivery capacity for MONaaS and LaaS
  • Oversee the development work from functional design through test during build processes
  • Build and maintain a customer-oriented delivery culture
  • Schedule and allocate cloud resources within service team
  • Communicate effectively with Head of Cloud Operations organization and Cloud Strategy team to manage demand and service level expectations
  • Provide key input to Cloud Strategy Lead for the creation and maintenance of overall Cloud Strategy
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve strategic objectives provided by Product Management
  • Work closely with Product Management to assist in pricing and recovery mechanisms
  • Provide strong leadership skills in support of service team employee development, mentoring, employee engagement, and objective setting
  • Provide status, plan, and issue logs to relevant stakeholders
  • Solicit performance feedback from Sectors and drive improvements
  • Identify and engage subject matter experts when required
  • Continuously review market trends and offerings to improve internal customer experience, drive operational excellence, and drive innovation in cloud services
  • Oversee follow-the-sun, on-call rotation of team members





  • 10+ years in technology management and strategy
  • 6+ years of experience in managing relationships with internal business customers
  • Experience working with related cloud service offerings
  • Experience in service delivery lifecycle (development, configuration, testing, deployment)
  • Ability to resolve escalated issues and risks
  • Experience in program leadership
  • Experience in successful delivery of IT and infrastructure solutions
  • Ability to manage portfolio and financials while influencing design decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Literacy across the entire tech stack
