Description
 

Job Summary:

  • Member of the Global Standby Advisory Unit (GSAU), handling guarantee & standby text review for Asia Pac (AU, NZ, CN, HK, MY, PH, SG, TW, VN). For the rest of Asia Pac where text review are not directly handled, GSAU shall also provide Advisory to the countries as and when needed. To represent Asia in monthly evening Global call with the Global Standby Trade Product Head and GSAU from other regions (NAM/EMEA), provide updates for the region, as well as share best practices
  • Also as Manager of the Guarantee Issuance Unit (handling HK, ID, JP, MY, PH, SG, TH, VN)

Responsibilities:

  • Managing team's day-to-day transactional processing, KPI etc.
  • Ensuring that the team deliver services in line with agreed service standards and turnaround time to meet customer's expectation
  • Ensures team's awareness and full compliance of governing rules (UCP, ISP, URDG), Citi policies, country regulations, guidelines, procedures and practices relevant to each of the 10 countries
  • Ensuring all controls are adhered and clean audit year to year

Qualifications
 

Qualifications:

  • A recognized tertiary qualification in Banking Business Finance Economics Accounting or Management
  • Very strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to converse in other languages will be advantageous
  • Good PC software application knowledge
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work in highly challenging environment
  • Willing to work staggered hours or shifts
