Description
 Job responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
  • Ensuring that daily and monthly valuations and unit prices are delivered accurately and on time
  • Ensure that the NAV are prepared in accordance with client's requirement and any exception in NAV and unit prices movement are explained
  • Ensure all daily processes have sufficient risk and compliance controls and all policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to by the team
  • Respond and follow up with any queries according to service standards with a stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Manage client's expectation and work with the relevant internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions to meet the expectations and needs of the client while maintaining a level of efficiency and control
  • Participate in service review and due diligence meetings with clients; effectively demonstrating the process flow and strict control environment
  • Identify control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures to mitigate any risk or control losses
  • Contribute to process improvement projects and participate in UAT testing
  • Execute strategy and initiatives delegated by senior management
  • Participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products
  • Work with other managers and peers for enhancement for system, processes, MIS reporting and etc.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support to staff on technical, professional and client management
  • Lead and motivate team to meet client deliverables and direct reports career development
  • Plan and manage daily operation and to utilize resources effectively
  • Ensure timely escalation of any issues to senior management
  • Directing staff appraisals and goal setting and monitoring performance and KPIs

Qualifications
 Qualifications The candidate must possess the following:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA)
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in the fund accounting industry
  • Good knowledge of accounting and valuation methodology of financial instruments
  • Exceptional leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experience
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiations skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and external clients
  • Ability to initiate change and work in a growing and fast paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate issues and aggressively drive initiatives to achieve results
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization with the ability to work under pressure and tight timeframes
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work product
  • Ability to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously and prioritize work based on urgency
  • Proficiency knowledge in Microsoft Excel (knowledge in VBA will be an added advantage), Word and PowerPoint
Candidates who do not possess the relevant working experience will be considered for either a Junior or Senior role.
