Based in the Dublin Service Centre, the Issuer Services Department is part of the wider Custody and Issuer Services Group. The Department contains a diverse section of units which support our Issuer Services Clients, Product and Sales partners. The services we provide include Depository servicing, Issuing and Paying agency services and Specialised Agency functions such as Account Bank, Project Finance, Structured Finance and Escrow Agent functions.
Typical Corporate Trust clients of Citi include major international and national-level corporations, financial institutions (FIs), banks, and public sector/sovereign Debt issuers, as well as investment banks, asset managers, and stand-alone collateral managers.
A senior role within the External Rates team which forms part of the depositary function provided by Issuer Services. The Common Depositary team by appointment of Euroclear and Clearstream operate in accordance with standard market manual of procedures.
CDP Processing / Common Depository Claims are responsible for sending a MT 564 pre-advice to the ICSDs for coupons, cash dividends and/or principal events. Where Citibank N.A.do not play the role as Paying Agent, a payment instruction must be provided to the External Paying Agent in order for the ICSDs to receive payments.
The external rates process is concerned with the timely and accurate collation of all variable rates from external calculation agents in our role of common depository in order to facilities their release to the market. Common Depository 21 day reconciliation process is responsible for the reconciliation of static data between the Common Depository and the ICSDs, Euroclear and Clearstream. All data discrepancies that are highlighted by the ICSDs must be compared to the details outlined in the terms and conditions with feedback provided. The team are also responsible for the cash investigation role - which is the ICSD client face which sees the team address all income related queries raised by the ICSDS on a daily basis in a timely, accurate manner.
