About the role
Registrars and Principal House Officers assist the Director, Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff in ensuring the Emergency Medicine services provided by the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service Hospitals are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner given available resources.
Emergency Department is approved by the respective college for FACE, FACRRM and GP training. Registrars and Principal House Officers will be supported by Emergency Department Consultants to not only deliver high quality care to patients but are assisted in career progression. Registrars have access to departmental teaching programmes, Mortality and Morbidity meetings and Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital Registrar teaching programme via teleconference.
Comprised of salary between $105,377 - $122,176 p.a., (L4 - L9) or comprised of salary between $105,377 - $116,066 p.a. (L4 - L7); up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution and 17.5% leave loading; temporary full time for 12 months, two positions available.
Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD)
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
