Role and Responsibilities:

 

Business/ Department Objectives: 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the monthly production of existing management reporting used by stakeholders across the business
  • Build upon the existing suite of management reporting used by senior management to make accurate, data driven decisions
  • Work across groups in Research Operations and Technology to ensure the systems we use to collect, store and analyze data are all accurate and interconnecting
  • Be able to identify trends in the data and make recommendations to the business on potential future course of action

Qualifications
 

Qualifications

 

Education: 

  • Required
    • Graduate/Post graduate qualification 
  • Preferred
    • MBA (or equivalent qualification) from a premier academic institution

Experience: 

  • Required
    • Minimum 2-3 years management reporting experience
    • Prior demonstrated experience of delivering results with a highly visible team operating in a global context
    • Should have experience in interacting with senior management stakeholders
  • Preferred
    • Preferable experience in Research, Banking or a Management Consulting organization
    • Prior experience with sell-side or buy-side research in a top tier firm will be useful
    • Statistical/Mathematical background is preferable
    • Experience in Big Data Solutions is preferable

Skills: 

  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business requirements and provide data to help observe trends and identify anomalies
  • Advanced analytics skills with an ability to assimilate large amounts of data, determine relevant information and provide easily digestible management reports
  • Experience producing management information for display via visual dashboards
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver high quality work
  • Demonstrated data manipulation & report development skills; ability to design and develop reports based on business requirements and optimal user experience
  • Knowledge of basic Excel VBA is added advantage
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to understand task requirements and deliver to deadlines
  • Essential strong English verbal and written communication skills. Proactive communication, tailored to the target audience
  • An ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment as a self-learner and exhibit an exceptional work-ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously amid tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment
  • Team player with good interpersonal and organizational skills
