The EMEA Franchise lead is responsible for leading all financial analytics, forward looking activities and strategic initiatives across EMEA Franchise & 3 clusters (50+ countries). It also includes spearheading various transformation initiatives across these multiple geographies, under one leadership. It involves working closely with Laura Perkins, EMEA regional P&A lead, Bridget Kennedy (Banking LFO), Cluster FP&A heads and various other senior members within EMEA P&A, Businesses, Controllers, Treasury, and Tax & Legal entity team

 

The lead has FP&A teams representing region and geographies within EMEA, rolling under his leadership in Mumbai.

 

The key responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:

  • Working with the regional and country FP&A leads, including the product finance teams, to analyze the performance of each franchise and provide an accurate forward-looking view of the financial performance
  • Leading key strategic initiatives at regional/geography level and driving these in collaboration with onshore and Mumbai teams
  • Driving standardization in various activities performed across different countries
  • Partner with the country FP&A heads to drive the global FP&A taxonomy and ensure consistent coverage across each country team in Mumbai
  • Work closely with FP&A leads of other regions to leverage the best practices across these teams
  • Supporting 100+ senior stakeholders across countries for their financial analytics requirements
  • Expected to play pivotal role in global initiative / projects like return on local capital, EBT forecasting, client level analysis, etc
  • Enrich job size: The lead is responsible for enriching the role size both in terms of expansion to include newer dimensions as well as substantial increase in depth in existing support

Below are a few examples of increase in depth of the role:

  • Leading all forward looking process coordination / guidance including:
  • Defining approach and broad guidelines for process
  • Conscripting ‘guiding principles’ for ‘Revenue expectation’ across EMEA ICG businesses
  • Leading all communications
  • Working closely with EMEA Balance Sheet lead and Treasury team in ensuring Balance Sheet plan meets all qualitative aspect and granular requirement from treasury perspective
  • Representing EMEA P&A on various senior cross forums
  • Working closely with CEO / CFOs office - part of Outlook / Earning review discussion with regional CFO (Frank Mannion)
