Our client is actively looking for a College Approved Rheumatologist to work in their busy practice.
Our client is a group of Rheumatology, specialists in the diagnosis and management of arthritis and musculoskeletal diseases. A modern, forward thinking practice who currently have a number of Rheumatologists who specialise in a variety of the less common diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and autoimmune conditions such as lupus and scleroderma.
As part of the team they also have an on-site immunologist who is in great demand and whom specialises in infants.
The opportunity exists to work a variety of sessions, from one a week to a maximum of ten. A specialised Rheumatology nurse is also employed to assist with the proscribing of biologic medications and a trained radiographer to assist with ultra-sounds and ultra-sound guided injections.
The Rheumatologists frequently liaise with colleagues in Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurology and arrange case conferences for patients who present a challenge in management. The aim is to deliver the best possible care to patients and to this end they work closely with other allied professions such as pain specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists and podiatrists.
