Role Outline/Job Summary:

  • To manage client relationships and improve cross sell of existing and new banking services. Objective is to maximize mutual value of relationship to the bank & client

Role & Responsibilities:


Business/Department Objectives: 

  • CCB – Assets

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a portfolio of relationships across diverse segments (Manufacturer/Exporters/Importers/Distributors etc) across MME clients
  • Grow the Bank's revenue base by deepening existing customer relationships
  • Proactively identify opportunities to structure innovative solutions and cross-sell the full range of products tailored to customer needs and requirements, increasing share of wallet

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 

  • Achieve projected revenue plan for the portfolio

Regular client calling to ensure the following:

  • Updates on performance of the company to ensure credit issues are identified in advance
  • Identification of possible incremental opportunities for new products/services implementation
  • Identify requirement for enhanced credit appetite for the customer
  • Ensure service issues are getting resolved through service manager
  • Cross sell of flow based services such as cash and trade
  • Keep in regular touch with promoters to identify opportunities for strategic requirements – M&A Advisory, IPO, ECM, DCM, etc.
  • Prepare Account Plans for key names
  • Manage credit portfolio- Understand Industry/Segment trends, obligor outlook and develop, implement credit strategy for managed names. Apply established policies and guidelines to complete periodic credit reviews. Ensure that appropriate credit and documentation standards are maintained

Financial/Budgetary: In excess of USD 4 MM


Individual Contributor (IC)/Managerial: Individual Contributor







  • Management Graduate/Qualified Chartered accountant


  • 7 - 10 years of banking work experience, preferably in Relationship Management


  • Strong credit & analytical skills, knowledge about financial and capital markets
  • Must have initiative and confidence to effectively operate in a demanding environment
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal skills
  • Be the first port of call for key relationships
