This is a post open only to students currently undertaking a pre- registration Physiotherapy or Nutrition and Dietetics training who are due to qualify in 2019. Your application is a duel application for a future Band 5 post and an interim Bank Therapy assistant post.

Here at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust the Community and Therapies Group (C&T) have taken an innovative approach to securing our AHP workforce of the future. The C&T Allied Health Professions Pre-registration Development Scheme allows us to recruit individuals to their first Band 5 post earlier in their final year of study so taking the pressure off students at this academically highly demanding time. The offer has multiple elements
• Offer of promise of employment as a Band 5 clinician in your profession on HCPC registration
• Opportunity of work as a Band 2 Therapy Assistant as part of our AHP Bank during your third year over holidays etc ( This subject to your availability/capacity and service needs)
• £500 towards study related costs
• HCPC registration fee payment for first two years
• Named NLaG mentor for support during final year.
Responding to this advert triggers a dual purpose application
• Band 5 Promise of employment
• Band 2 Therapy Assistant Bank contract.

Onward process – Once your application has been successfully processed you will be
• Invited for interview which will include a short presentation and structured questions to explore your future suitability for a Band 5 post.
• If offered the post subject to references and DBS clearance you will be signed up to the Promise of Employment Contract and the AHP Bank which will provide a route for payment of the financial incentives as well as opportunity for paid work during your final year.
• On establishing your start date if this is before your HCPC registration has come through then you will be paid as a Band 4 assistant changing to a Band 5 on evidence of successful registration
