Position Objectives:

  • Work with countries and control functions throughout the entire product approval process to facilitate product and provider approvals for Asia and EMEA markets
  • Partner with countries insurance product teams to ensure timely delivery of all submissions and approvals 
  • Organize and partner with countries in ensuring periodic reviews of product programs and providers for Asia and EMEA insurance business are timely and completed per policy requirements and standards
  • Process improvement review and recommendations including data analysis 
  • Work with providers to streamline product schedule

Product Reviews:

  • Work closely with countries product teams and product approval committee on product submissions for approval committee
  • Review submission from countries product teams, giving feedback and conduct preparatory work to ensure product passes for consideration
  • Ensure products offer good value proposition for customers and are aligned with  policies and standards
  • Manage and organize product pipeline for approval meetings
  • Coordinate with product team and stakeholders on product approval/management and any enhancements/upgrades to meet Customer needs or policy requirements
  • Technical support to countries in managing products
  • Analysis of product reviews
  • Drive initiatives to streamline and improve efficiency of the approval process, aligned with internal policy requirements

Provider Reviews

  • Work closely with countries and key stakeholders in ensuring periodic review of providers across Asia and EMEA market are aligned with policy requirements and completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with product team and stakeholders in on-boarding new insurance providers
  • Drive initiatives to streamline and improve efficiency of the process leveraging on best practices

Product Development and Management

  • Support the development and management of relevant insurance value propositions that have clearly expressed benefits, are scalable across markets, simple, intuitive and compelling for customers/segments/Channels
  • Support in developing and rolling out insurance solutions
  • Develop and expand insurance solutions including sharing/implementing global/regional best practices
  • Related channel and consumer research 

Project Support

  • Support key strategic and operational projects across the insurance business
  • Provide subject matter expertise across product, channel and customer initiatives in Asia and EMEA countries


Qualifications
 

The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • 8 - 10+ years of relevant industry experience preferably with background in Bancassurance
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products and sales processes across life, investments and non-life
  • Strong end-to-end product development and project management skills preferably with experience in product approval process, with demonstrated ability to influence stake holders across functions and countries.
  • Experience with Bancassurance implementations (and wealth management) and supporting processes (sales, technology, service etc.) preferred
  • Highly organized and commercially savvy
  • Strong communications (verbal, written, PPT) and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytic ability, actuarial background preferred
