We are Qatar Duty Free – a shopping emporium at the heart of Qatar’s state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport with more than 40,000 square meters of combined retail and dining.
In this role as Brand Manager you will be responsible for managing both front and back operations of the brand store. Brand Manager will lead the team to achieve QDFC/Brand objectives of maximizing sales, exceptional visual merchandising, driving GUEST experience and maintain cost controls.
You will also be responsible for developing strategies around brand vision and positioning, to achieve overall business goals of the brand. You will manage the shop floor in accordance with Qatar Duty Free & respective brand policies to establish an operation that meets performance levels, outlined by the management. You will also maintain a daily report and ensure high level of service through capable and well trained staff.
You will coordinate with the merchandising/visual merchandising team on space and stock management of the shop to ensure the best use of resources to maximizing sales and ensure the brand is well represented. You will submit suggestions to senior management for any improvements to enhance operationsAbout You:
We are looking for candidates who are passionate, confident, self-motivated and results-oriented. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Merchandise Planning, Sales, Marketing and Promotions. You should have at least 5 years’ of job related experience with at least 3 years in a multi brand retailing company in the luxury category management / brand management function.
You should also have strong mentoring and coaching skills with the ability to foster teamwork among team members. Furthermore, you should have well- developed interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. As we are in a period of rapid growth, we need people to succeed sooner than later.
