The role of the Principal Project Manager is to manage an Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) project within a healthcare environment, ensuring successful completion within agreed criteria to enable enhanced service delivery.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of clinical system, biomedical and major medical ICT integration and enhancement projects within the SCHHS.
  • Be accountable for delivering successful outcomes to the clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of a large scale, complex project in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
  • Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
  • Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.

Remuneration value up to $138 841 p.a., comprising salary between $4346.10 - $4664.30 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (2 x temporary full time positions available from 01/04/2019 until 31/12/2019).
