This role at American Express in the Global Commercial Services (GCS) Product Management team is responsible for a transformational partnership targeting the corporate segment. The Partnership Manager will manage the Partnership engagement, Product and Partnerships plans to achieve customer acquisition, product loyalty engagement & billings growth goals.

The environment will be fast-paced, and we need someone who is energised, strategic and commercially minded who is driven by influencing a wide number of internal & external stakeholders to support the Partnership going from strength to strength.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage Partner relationship and commitments, aligned with the market and product line strategy 
  • Lead and Manage the end-to-end Partnership plan. Ensure all workstreams meet the commercial goals and business case including product engagement, reporting and agreed strategies 
  • Influence and Collaborate across key stakeholders and Lines of Business to execute the business plan 
  • Expertise in partnerships construct execution 
  • Driving Results & Optimise billings growth and margin return
Qualifications
 
  • Proven experience 5+ years as a product manager, business development manager or marketing manager with proven senior level partnership management experience 
  • Robust relationship management skills 
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create documents and proposals, build relationships and influence at all levels within the Company, capable of delivering through others 
  • Manage a direct report and effectively operate within a regional product management operating structure 
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to set and adjust the partnership product management strategy 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven Partner negotiation experience 
  • Knowledge of Business-to-Business industry in Singapore is ideal
  • Expert commercial management skills, a strategic view and a strong customer orientation are also critical to the role
