About the Role

Deliver consistent and effective clinical innovation practices and projects involving comprehensive project management and redesign processes across Metro South Health. Deliver solutions that are responsive to customer needs, are sustainable and provide enhanced health services. Provide support to other project staff, and to deliver the functions and desired outcomes of the Executive Planning and Innovation Committee (EPIC).

  • Initiate, lead and manage agreed clinical redesign projects as delegated by the Executive Planning and Innovation Collaborative (EPIC). 
  • Lead the operation, organisation and cultural change associated with the implementation of innovative approaches to clinical service delivery.
  • Apply advanced clinical reasoning, knowledge, principles and practices to develop, implement and evaluate complex initiatives to achieve organisational goals for improved clinical services.
  • Contribute to Research and Development of critical importance to clinical service redesign and development within Metro South Health and broader health service network.
  • Manage the flexible conceptualisation, development and delivery of several projects at the same time.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and implement best practice guidelines and processes to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved on assigned projects.
  • Participate as an effective team member and work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholder groups to achieve outcomes.
  • Communicate with influence and use interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to develop and cultivate productive effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a complex and changing environment.
