About your opportunity
This role leads and evaluates the implementation of the North West Hospital and Health Service Infection Control Management Plan in collaboration with the Infection Control Committee, organisational leads, the Director of the Clinical Governance Unit and Executive Management Group; including providing expert advice regarding infection event investigation, outbreak prevention and management and strategies to reduce health care acquired infection. As well as providing support and education to staff in respect of the operationalisation of the Infection Control Management Plan including staff immunity screening and vaccination; management of multi-resistant organisms; environmental cleaning; reprocessing of reusable medical devices; hand hygiene compliance and aseptic technique.

What's on offer?
Permanent full-time role.

Generous remuneration value up to $137,278 p.a. comprising of:

  • Base salary range of $110,499 - $119,964 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7)
  • recreational leave loading (17.5%)
  • employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

A range of additional financial benefits such as rural and remote allowances (RANIP) and salary sacrificing options may apply.
