You will ensure that the aircraft is compliant with all the required airworthiness regulations and acceptable level of reliability, are maintained to support QTR/QAF operational requirements. You will review reliability alerts related to systems, components or aircraft dispatch and analyse, identify and propose implementation plans to maintain optimum level of reliability and cost levels. You will assist Maintenance Section and other internal /external customers in resolving technical queries, and repetitive defects. Initiating and processing deviations to certified aircraft configuration or approved maintenance data.
Evaluate Technical Documentation (AD/CN/SB/SIL/OIT/AOT/VSB/TFU) issued by airworthiness authorities, aircraft manufactures or vendors and take necessary action in a timely manner ( e.g issue EO, ESWC, CMA, TN etc.. )
Evaluate technical and commercial proposals, retrofit modification orders and corporate engineering change request and make recommendation
Analyze and find solutions to the problems related to components and systems that exceed alert levels in reliability reports and issue necessary technical documentation and co-ordinate with various in-house departments, vendors and manufactures as needed to define or implement solution.
Perform technical investigate TORs/MORs/ASRs and recommend corrective measure as required. Prepare product specification and assist commercial department in preparing requests information and request for proposal and purchase agreements documents for selection of new components and systems.
Initiate campaign inspection, modification and engine /APU/component shop visits as applicable and coordinate all concerned to ensure their timely accomplishmentAbout you:
You must be a degree holder from a recognised university in Bachelor of Engineering either Aeronautical, Avionics, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or May or may not hold an ICAO type II license
You must have minimum experience of 6 years job related experience of airworthiness / reliability / technical support engineer role in continuing airworthiness maintenance organization of a reputed airline. Internal staff must completed minimum 2 years in EN.01 with related experience. Good knowledge of aircraft system / Power Plant / Structures/Avionics / reliability and Cabin Interiors preferably training on one or several types of aircraft operated by Qatar Airways. You must have a strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment to all levels in the organization.
