What do we offer:

  • We are a part of the broader North America Cards team providing strategic and analytical decision management support to nurture growth through enhanced customer experience. As Portfolio Analytics team, we support analytical functions across cards business of Citi NA Cards. Few notables among the multiple areas that we work in:
  • P&L forecasting for Acquisition and ECM customers: Regular forecasts of Cards P&L at varied level of granularity to guide strategic budget and revenue planning
  • Product analytics: This includes both new product development and feature change of existing products. Impact of product features and marketing offers are established through rigorous analytical efforts to understand the shift in customer requirements and sentiments to enable recommendation of necessary changes to drive customer delight along with profitability
  • Rewards forecasting: Forecasts for rewards reserve to identify quarterly reserve build or release for the rewards/cash portfolios impacting the P&L
  • Business critical Dashboards: self-explanatory and detailed dashboards to review the portfolio health with the business leaders with analytical backing of particular trends of interest
  • In order to achieve the best in class analytical solutions across business units we use the best in class tools and technology


Expertise Required:


Analytical Skills:


Must Have:

  • Hypothesis testing
  • Proficient in Formulating Analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns with data
  • Experience in gathering data and establishing a proposal or business case in order to present a persuasive case in favor of an observed need for improvement
  • Generate actionable Business Insights
  • Ability to formulate and explain interactions between product features, offers and customer behavior using statistical and business driven methodologies


  • Knowledge of Segmentation, Basic Knowledge of predictive modeling, Decision Tree
  • Tools and Platforms      
  • Proficient in SAS, SQL
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint


  • R, SAS E-miner, VBA, Tableau, Knowledge Seeker

Domain Skills:

  • Understanding of cards business
  • Knowledge of credit card P&L
  • Customer servicing & understanding customer touch points



Soft Skills:

  • Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler form
  • Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Strong process/project management skills

Educational and Experience:

  • MBA/Master degree in Economics/Statistics/Engineering from premier institutes


  • Post Graduate in – Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Econometrics, Management Science and related fields
