About your opportunity
This position works within the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Team, part of the Mental Health Service Group in the Townsville Hospital and Health Service, and provides a mental health service to all treatment areas of the Townsville Hospital. The team consists of a Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Registrar, Psychologist, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Mental Health Clinician and Addictions Clinician. The aims of the team are to provide a rapid consultative service (assessments and interventions) to inpatients that may have mental health problems and to aid patients who do not suffer major mental health problems but whose acute and chronic conditions affect their emotional equilibrium and sense of well-being. This is a temporary full-time position up to 5 May 2019.

Generous remuneration package value comprising salary range of $2525.70 to $3828.20 p.f. (HP3/Nurse Grade 6), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation.
