Your opportunity:

The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a clinical manager, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within the Operating Theatre, Central Sterilising & Supply Department (CSSD) and Day Procedure Unit (DPU).  The NUM provides professional and operational leadership and direction to nursing staff, as well as operational leadership to administration, allied health, and operational staff, and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Operating Theatre, CSSD and DPU.  The NUM utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and efficiency and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox), and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $115,261 p.a., comprising salary rates $55.73 - $60.50 p.h., (Nurse Grade 7), (Permanent part time, 64 hours p.f.) (Applications will remain current for 12 months). Job Ad Reference: H1903WB304080.
