Reporting to the Manager, you will ensure end-to-end service delivery for Queensland Health enterprise systems. You will be responsible for providing high level technical analysis of IT system issues as well as the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements to these issues. Additionally, you will provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning by using best practice in systems support and service delivery with the ITIL framework.
Critically, you will work collaboratively, building effective working relationships, with staff across the Technology Services branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels.

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated ability to develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework. You will also possess technical experience in analysing ICT system issues and contributing to the design and implementation of appropriate solutions and improvements using the following technology domains:
Additionally, you will have knowledge of change management processes in line with ITIL service management standards, particularly within the areas of incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential in this role to enable effective working relationships to be developed with team members, clients and other stakeholders. Strong written communication skills are also required to develop and maintain registers and reports.
You will also have a demonstrated ability to meet service delivery targets and implement quantifiable service improvements by managing multiple tasks within agreed time frames whilst working unsupervised.
