An opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to lead and deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person centred care delivered in a clinical specialty within a dynamic health environment at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards of Practice. The Hepatology Service provides management and treatment for patients with Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, Alcohol Liver Disease and other chronic liver conditions.

Assume responsibility and accountability for own actions and the delegation and supervision of nursing care to Registered Midwives (RMs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs).
Contribute to the effectiveness of the multidisciplinary team through the provision of clinical nursing expertise and leadership.
Provide nursing leadership that drives system and quality improvement initiatives and change management.
Take accountability for outcomes and achievement of service performance targets.
Remuneration value up to $136 874 p.a., comprising salary between $110 499 - $119 964 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grdae 7).
