The role: 
Reporting directly to the Manager – Presentations, you will be responsible for providing high level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.  You will ensure effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practice in systems support and service delivery (preferably with the ITIL framework) is provided at a high level.

Are you right for this role?
To secure this role you will have demonstrated experience in: Providing high-level technical direction, standardisation and support of enterprise infrastructures within large customer focused organisations with a high level of understanding and working knowledge of some or all of the below technical domains:

  • Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Directory Services (Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory)
  • Active Directory Group Policy administration and configuration
  • Application packaging (MSI, application virtualisation, scripting technologies)
  • Enterprise printing solutions (Novell iPrint)

Providing effective incident, problem, change, configuration management, preferably with the ITIL framework, to ensure an effective end to end service delivery of enterprise systems within Queensland Health.

Additionally, you will demonstrate high level communication skills to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships within a highly skilled technical team, and with other ICT service delivery staff to ensure the alignment, integration, and delivery of operational services, processes and service levels across the organisation.
