We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the HSBC Securities Services team.
Below are the important functions carried out by the incumbent:
Account Opening Management – This includes ensuring accurate onboarding documentation for clients to facilitate market registration and account opening, interacting with clients through written and telephonic communication and coordinating with the relevant teams for the completion of the account opening process.
Client Management - This includes corresponding with the Global Custodian and /or Direct Clients to respond to client queries and also ensure the client is aware of the Regulatory and HSBC requirement towards the market opening. The incumbent is expected to lead market knowledge discussions with the relevant client contact and ensure that clients are kept updated on all regulatory and market changes.
Documentary Processing – Involves the compilation, review and completion of the registration, account opening and other related account set up. To ensure error free tracking of all related actionable. Keeping abreast of the frequent regulatory changes in the India market pertaining to FPI and KYC registration and ensuring that the current requirements are in line with the market and HSBC requirement. Liaising with internal stake-holders including Customer Group/CMG for direct clients on-boarding.
Project Management – This involves participating in relevant remediation and market / regulatory driven projects relating to account opening documentation and other information. Assist the Team lead and the Client Servicing Manager to ensure completion of the project on defined timelines.
Preferably a Management Graduate
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge and experience in managing KYC and regulatory documentation in line with Local Regulations
Knowledge of SEBI and RBI Regulations
Experience of interacting large institutional clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Any other additional Information:
