 North America (NA) Consumer Banking: over 30,000 professionals working together to provide consumers with credit card, retail banking, wealth management, small business, mortgage, commercial banking and payment products and services. Within North America Consumer Banking, there are three primary business areas: U.S. Consumer and Commercial Banking, Citi Cards, and the Global Enterprise Payments business.  Within the US Consumer (Retail) Banking group, the Citibanking Segment and Product Management Group is responsible for the development, enhancement and ongoing management of all deposit, lending, retirement, and cash management/funds transfer products for consumers and small businesses.  This group is also responsible for defining and delivering differentiated and competitive value propositions to distinct segments within our consumer mass-market target audience.  Within that team, the Consumer Savings Group is responsible for Consumer Saving products that include Bank Retirement and non-Retirement Money Market, Savings, and Certificate of Deposit Accounts.  This team is responsible for the direct management of product features, as well as shared management oversight on all aspects of product delivery, including applicable internal/external policies and regulations, operational process and procedures, and applicable systems and technology.  This position will report to the Consumer Savings Products New Capabilities Delivery Manager.   Description:  The Vice President Consumer Savings Products New Capabilities Assistant Delivery Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of new product development and enhancements of features/functionalities that position Citi to gain market share of consumer bank retirement and non-retirement money market, savings, and certificate of deposit deposits.   A successful candidate will help drive client satisfaction initiatives and make decisions that put our clients first in everything we do. The candidate will also have acute understanding of the levers that foster the health and growth of the savings product portfolio.  Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Consumer Savings Products New Capabilities Delivery Manager and Consumer Savings Product Group Head to help develop, maintain, and champion enhancements and new product development for the Savings Product Roadmap
  • Collaborate with the Savings Product Manager(s) and Deposit Policy, Controls & Client Experience Manager on the development of business cases and remediation deliverables (if applicable) including Identified Business Issues (IBI)  and Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
  • Work with the Consumer Savings Products Growth and Sales Execution team to stay informed on the sales and marketing plans of our products
  • Depending on the size of the initiative, drive or support with driving the design, development, testing, and implementation of select new and enhanced savings deposit products
  • Support post implementation activities and transition to BAU to Savings Product Manager(s)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Citibank Online, Call Center Operations, Branch, and other support groups on the design, development, budgeting, and release schedules for projects aimed at driving the performance of our products
  • Ensure that product enhancements contribute to a positive client experience
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for consumer saving products including the policies, operations and technologies integral to delivering products or enhancements to clients 
  • Ensure strict adherence to product management policies and guidelines to ensure all legal, compliance and audit standards are met

  • Bachelor's degree; MA or MBA an asset
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in consumer banking preferred
  • Strong understanding of the US retail banking landscape
  • Experience in product development
  • Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
