Position Objective:


The Individual will be responsible for a group of traders that manage the client flow business for D1. This will include ETF, Single Stocks, and the Custom basket Business. The individual will report to the Head of Prime Finance in NAM.

Key Responsibilities:


The individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the client flow business for D1.
Ensure all D1 pods interact with each other to achieve synergies and create a growth platform. Build client relationships for the D1 flow product suite. Oversee the risk and pricing for the desk to ensure consistency and accuracy. Work closely with FRM and liquidity management to optimize D1 flows and achieve improved pricing. Drive technology requirements across each pod to create an improved client experience.

Challenges:


The challenges will includ building a robust platform that incorporates the requirements of the clients while ensuring that there are as few manual processes as possible. Also, technology innovation and execution of the tech book of work are paramount. Working with the control functions to ensure consistency and best in class with regards to first line of defense.

Critical Success Factors:


• Build profitability model to improve transparency of revenue
• Work closely with FRM and liquidity management to optimize D1 flows and achieve improved pricing
• Oversee risk and pricing for the desk to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Partner with compliance and risk management to create a strategic execution platform combining all compliance checks and risk limits
• Work with macro and strategy to coordinate and generate client facing content
• Build client relationships for the D1 flow product suite


Qualifications
 

 

Knowledge/Experience:
10+ years of experience in the D1 space. Strong understanding of market and credit risk. Extensive experience speaking with top tier clients about their financing needs in the equity space.

Skills:
Excel, VBA

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent

Competencies:
Teamwork, infrastructure build, connect with partner groups across the firm
