Product Sales Lead Officer

 

Job Description : Portfolio Counselor is a ‘sales independent’ function, who jointly, along with CPC Bankers, engage with the CPC clients (5cr plus portfolio) and offer them a neutral advise. The objective is to be ‘right by the client’ and not be product/ revenue centric. The advice should be in line with clients’ risk appetite and objectives. Key deliverables : 
  • Target 20-25 client meetings in a month & Provide coverage to 100% CPC client base mapped in the Region (meeting clients at least once in 6 months)
  • Portfolio review done with a view to independently assess client's portfolio while keeping client objectives and risk appetite in mind. Suggest portfolio rebalancing through asset allocation/ product selection, if necessary
  • Communicate Citi House-views and approach portfolio discussions in line with Citi strategy/ views only
  • Drive superior client experience, resulting in AUM growth & better NPS scores from existing clients
  • As an active member of Investment product committee (IPC), provide views and inputs on asset classes, products and help devise overall strategy as a team
  • Conduct regular trainings/ huddles for CPC Bankers to keep them abreast on Markets, Products etc. Education frontline on portfolio construction and rebalancing concepts 
Education & Experience  
  • MBA from a reputed college with at least 8-10 years of experience in Wealth Management Distribution/ Advisory/ Products
  • Exposure to incorporating & managing large family offices, family trusts etc will be an added advantage
  • CFP/ CFA will be plus 
Knowledge : 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of personal portfolio management. Understanding of asset allocation is very important
  • Good understanding of all asset classes and ability to grasp & analyze new product ideas
  • Well abreast with current market and economic trends 
Skills : 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Excellent communication , since the role involves effectively communicating with marquee clientele & senior bankers
  • Strong relationship skills (external as well as internal customers)
  • Ability to work in teams
