  • Real Estate management and Strategic Planning
  • Drive the Citi Realty Services (CRS) Vision Priorities and Real Estate optimization in the country and transformation of the supply chain through transactions, facilities management and projects.
  • Oversee managing the Real Estate function and the portfolio to ensure optimum use of space, effective use lease contract options and effective disposal/sub-lease of vacant space that are no longer required.
  • Evaluate industry future directions and relates to future needs and project constituents or stakeholders.
  • Recommend transactions to improve cost effectiveness of the portfolio and improve utilization of existing space, ensuring appropriate space to corporate needs at the lowest possible occupancy costs in the market.
  • Development of innovative solutions and conflict resolution to real estate issues within managed portfolio.
  • Project management, Construction and Renovation
  • Manage various types of projects, including building re-stacking and space planning exercises upon customer request or to optimize building available space usage, within budget cost. Ensure proper management of architects, engineers, contractors, their legal contracts, performance, invoice payments and compliance with schedules.
  • Provide technical and professional advice on leasing/construction issues for Citigroup/Citibank owned/leased buildings under CRS management. Asset, Facility and Building Operations Management
  • Ensure effective building operation and infrastructure to fully support businesses within the portfolio managed, with the appropriate quality and added value to customers.
  • Manage the Facilities Management service provider and auxiliary specialized vendors on a day to day basis
  • Manage the outsourced service desk to ensure that day to day needs of users are appropriately addressed.
  • Manage utility consumption and work closely with the regional sustainability team to understand environmental sustainability best practices.
  • Manage occupancy related system requirements with the Regional MIS team to ensure proper portfolio and metrics tracking Interactions
  • Frequent and effective interaction with senior stakeholders at country level and with other internal support organizations including Technology, HR and Procurement
  • Internally and externally recognize resource that influences the way things are done, within and beyond the business
  • Conduct proactive Vendor Management in line with Citigroup procedures; to include maintenance of approved vendor list, tendering, awarding and monitoring of contracts and any other procurement activity related to the Asset Management function Financial Management
  • Assume full responsibility for the P&L of the Portfolio. Establishes and manages the financial budgets (expense & capital) of the Portfolio.
  • Ensure appropriate property expense cost and control. Demonstrate year on year improvement in the expense based reduction and increase efficiency in premises utilization, as demonstrated by a reduction in the annual cost per seat.
  • Work closely with the businesses and the CRS finance planning team on allocation and direct charges of Safety and Soundness
  • Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, safety and environmental agencies to maximize the value of the portfolio and safe operation thereof.
  • Ensure effective CRS control framework (MCA) implementation by coordinating and implementing effective risk, control and close governance to all Citi policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and ensure successful, periodic Internal Audits.
  • Ensure that CRS priorities and corporate standards are maintained and observed within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure reporting consistency on time and quality from all areas under his/her responsibility 

  • 10-15 years of Real estate experience, with at least 5 years in a senior position, working  in a large corporate environment
  • Strong fundamental understanding of corporate real estate principles and proven ability to deliver sound real estate solutions
  • Management of annual financial plan for the real estate portfolio in the country
  • A track record in successful management of a sizeable portfolio spread across a broad geography
  • A strong ability to manage stakeholders with a proven record of developing, managing and sustaining relations with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work with Regional leadership, functions and management as required
  • Aptitude to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative/ ownership and take on various assignments simultaneously
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • High standards of work product quality and volume
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
