We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of IT SHIFT OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE –Data Centre & Service Management
Provide and support DCSM under the various technology domains to HSBC Malaysia
Comply with guidelines in the IT Functional Instruction Manual.
Able to work in a data centre environment, on a non-standard or shift working hours.
Possess service and incident management skills to deliver optimum service availability.
Comply with various checks and controls guidelines to reduce operational risk and ensure observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors & external regulators.
Ensure awareness of IT FIM, SOX, BNM compliance requirements & implementation of Group Compliance Policy.
Contribute to the overall Bank strategy on quality management, control and productivity. Manage operational costs/overheads without compromising security, risks and financial loses, generate ideas to streamline and improve workflow for greater efficiency and productivity.
Preferably educated to a degree level, within IT with relevant industry experience
Ability to build strong relationships and communicate on complex issues with a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
Good interpersonal skills and initiative to share on-going changes with others.
Solid background in developing and managing operational processes.
Fluent in verbal and written English.
Ability to work in a diverse, global environment.
