Your opportunity:

  • This position applies high level Psychology knowledge, clinical skills and clinical expertise, leadership, consultation and professional supervision in the provision of cancer care services in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
  • The position requires a significant level of independence and personal accountability, including independent professional judgement in problem solving and clinical management, handling of a complex caseload beyond that of routine day to day clinical practice, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision.
  • The position contributes to service development, education and research in the work unit.
  • The position operationally reports to the Team Leader, Cancer Care Support Team.  The position professionally reports to the Director of Psychology, Bundaberg campus, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox), and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:

A competitive remuneration package value up to $131,164 p.a., comprising salary between $106,833 - $114,960 p.a., (HP4) (Applications will remain current for twelve months) Job Ad Refernece: H1905WB308832.
