General:

 

The candidate should possess strong technical skills and analytical ability with 7-10 years of experience in Core Java, Multi-threading, Concurrency and low latency programming. Technically strong with ability to work independently, with good communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire SDLC process - Design, develop. Test and deploy technology solutions for global Program Trading desks
  • Provide level 3 support in case of production issues/queries from support team / trading desks

Other:

  • Candidate should be capable of working independently as well as collaborating with a team
  • Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities.
  • Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation, technical design
  • Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
  • Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery
  • Customer interfacing - understand customer requirements, propose technical solutions
  • Full Software Development Lifecycle
  • Code reviews, test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements
  • Component Design/ Coding/ Unit Testing/ Debugging

Qualifications
 

Desired Skills:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Core Java, Design patterns, Multi-threading/Concurrency and low latency programming
  • Working knowledge of FIX Protocol, TibCo
  • Knowledge of Program Trading business a huge ++ 
  • Ability to work as part of global team and independently
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
