Sr Business Analyst:

  • The successful candidate will work with Cash Solutions team and will be responsible for the Business analysis and implementation of large and complex cash, trade and cards deals as well managing BAU changes/projects. The large/complex deals managed by the Cash Solutions team are normally multi-product and multi-country implementations. Other complex solutions involve the development of new product capability, which require technology and new operational process development. Therefore, the candidate will have the management skills needed to succeed in a complex organizational environment with shifting priorities while managing client expectations and the delivery of the projects. The projects managed by the EMEA Cash Solutions team require a strong governance model. The model involves managing senior stakeholder communication internally and with senior clients. Therefore, the individual will have the ability to interface with senior TTS Management teams and interact with senior client stakeholders. Knowledge and experience in the Payments and Receivables domain including Card Scheme is extremely desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the Cash business analysis/requirement management, implementation of projects in line with project management methodology, and manage and coordinate the work of the implementation work streams and functional areas involved in a project, including Product, Technology and Client Operations and other teams

Key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Own and drive the identification of change, its systemic/procedural impact and management of delivering appropriate and compliant Payment Systems solutions
  • Maintain solid relationships with key client and internal stakeholders
  • Represent Client Operations in different internal forums/Steering
  • Create business user stories to enable engagement with engineers and development teams.
  • Working with technology teams to elaborate stories, answer questions/provide relevant info and generally transfer knowledge for what needs to be delivered and why and finalize which stories are needed for build and create acceptance criteria
  • Develop and maintain a customized project plan tailored to project requirements, outlining deliverables, milestones, critical path items and actions
  • Establish appropriate governance model (in partnership with Product and Technology) to deliver the project
  • Lead meetings and coordinate activities of the cross-organizational teams
  • Maintain solid relationships with key client and internal stakeholders
  • Manage critical issues to resolution and escalate to senior management as required
  • Manage project communication and serve as escalation point for internal operations teams
  • Manage project scope and apply the change control process
  • Ensure effective transition from project to production
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department initiatives to implement process enhancements
  • Ensure completeness of delivery from a solution perspective and readiness perspective
  • Support of operational issues that may occur from time to time

Management Skills:

  • Proven track record of successful implementations of complex, multi-product deal portfolios
  • Project Management experience in running complex implementations that require new product functionality/product development
  • Proven track record of consistently strong performance and excellent project delivery
  • Wide organizational knowledge and cross-functional team work experience to deliver multi-work stream projects
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems; strong influence skills

Functional skills:

  • Card Acquiring/Issuing Bank Operation and Service
  • Understanding of VISA and Mastercard products, implementation experience
  • Consumer to business model of payment & receivable products
  • Payment schemes (Swift, Local ACH and SEPA)
  • Statement/Reconciliations
  • FX (payments specific)
  • Sanctions (payments specific)
  • Operations reconciliation processes
  • Project Program Management (Certification or relevant job experience preferable)
  • Financial management

Transferable Skills:

  • Self-starter and ability to take initiative in driving projects forward
