In this role you will be responsible to manage and direct Airside Operations - Ramp, by providing a safe, quality product covering a range of ramp handling services. You will be accountable for management and supervision of Airside Operations, Ramp Service activities including loading, un-loading of aircrafts and Turnaround coordination activities. You will be responsible for the health and safety of all staff engaged in Ramp activities in HIA and associated areas; promoting a QAS safety culture, educating and raising awareness and understanding through the most appropriate medium, ensuring adherence to QAS values and culture, and being responsible for staff morale and welfare. Tasks also include ensuring compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the airside operations to guarantee employee safety, corporate security, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.
In addition, you will continuously review and manage all aspects of Airside Operation with the ramp handling procedures to ensure that work methods and equipment / manpower levels are in line with budget guidelines and meet the business and customer requirement.
Represent Airside Operations, as required in management / operational meetings to ensure that issues of operations, safety and security are promptly addressed, resolved and amendments made to internal service level agreements.
To be considered in this role you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. You must be an expert in this field with a minimum of 8 years of job-related experience. You will have Airside Ramp Operations Management experience along with a good understanding of ground handling operations.
You should have excellent written & verbal communication skills in English, planning skills are essential requirements of the job. You will good knowledge of overall Operations, Finance, HR, Customer relations, Supplier management, SGHA and RFP.Note: you will be required to attach the following:
