 Position Objective:

  • Senior Relationship Manager who is responsible for managing multinational relationships of diverse industries and geographical origin (past experience of those sectors is necessary)
  • Strong understanding of client’s business, macro-economic environment in which business needs to operate
  • Ability to cross-sell along with product partners, structure appropriate product solution so as to deepen Citi’s penetration into share of wallet
  • Build engagement with seniors at client end and leverage the same to the benefit of Citi Franchise
  • Strong understanding of risk management related practices and being able to deploy them while underwriting credit risk 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage  a portfolio of accounts covering large MNC Clients independently
  • Acquisition of new relationships. Accountable for the holistic ownership of the customer relationship
  • To prepare credit proposals/credit reviews for coverage universe and being able present the same before respective approvers
  • String understanding of the legal framework, local laws and credit documentation
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the customers and their needs (both financial and non-financial) within the Banking marketplace
  • Maintain close and regular contact with all customers in their portfolio
  • To ensure positive and satisfactory client experience resulting in higher Voice of Client’s score 

Qualifications
 

Requirements:

  • Must have significant experience of banking engagement with multinationals
  • Potential candidates will currently be working in a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager role or in a Rating Agency
  • A good sense of Credit and Sales skills are essential to be successful in this role
  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills in a sales environment
  • Proven risk assessment, monitoring and control skills in a broad range of customer situations
  • In-depth knowledge of the full range of Banking products and funding solutions

Personality and Experience:

  • Mature and independent. Have strong initiative and drive
  • Team player with leadership qualities
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Significant experience in handling corporate relationships with at least 4 years of relevant experience and total banking experience of over 10 years
