About Your Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all specific features within the lounge; the responsibilities entail management and delivery of a variety of F&B services as well as catering to FOH operations within the lounge. You will be expected to maintain customer service levels and sales through regular reviews of customer preferences in order to ensure that the lounge provides quality service.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Mange and ensure work output means the agreed standard of quantity, quality, cost and time frame to maintain financial viability within the lounge.
  • Ensure resources are available and used effectively
  • Efficient and effective communication between team members through out the Lounge operations including internal and external bodies where necessary ensuring that customers do not face any service related issues.
  • Conducting and being actively involved in daily team briefings and communicating effectively with all areas of the operation
  • Ensuring visual appearance of the operation is of the highest standard by regular monitoring
  • Liaising and building positive relationships with other internal departments and external agencies, where appropriate
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained per shift and actively promote positive teamwork with all colleagues
  • Providing on the job performance monitoring and coaching to enable individuals to understand their current competency level and expected level of work performance
  • Implementing effective rosters and supervising days in lieu and overtime allocation with minimum risk to daily operations
  • Manage accounts, financial, contractual obligations and day to day communication within the lounge
  • Responsible to generate and increase additional revenue within lounge operations
  • Liaise with local airport authorities 
About You:

To be effective in this role, you will need a degree qualification combined with a minimum of five years job related experience in a supervisory position, preferably within the premium hospitality, airline, airport or service environment. You will need excellent delegation, direction setting and workflow management skills combined with strong mentoring and coaching ability.  You will also need excellent decision making and problem solving skills.

You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English to perform this role.
