GFTS provides application development and other technology services for global functions, including Compliance Technology Services, Enterprise Technology Solutions, Global Finance Technology and Global Human Resources Technology.


Job Description:


Citi’s strategic solution for the implementation of a formalized, integrated Booking Model management capability via a series of increasingly automated, integrated and standardized tools.


Booking Model management is executed via a variety of governance and control processes that are standardized, suitably integrated with one another and automated where appropriate. The scope of this monitoring extends to include all market and credit risk‐sensitive products, regardless of the business to which they relate, or the legal entity onto which they are booked. This monitoring will leverage high‐quality, globally standardized data in order to ensure completeness; sources of data for this monitoring control will be those that are demonstrably complete via their reconciliation to the financial statements of Citigroup.


The individual will be working closely with senior project and program managers as well as other members of the development team to support enhancements to the project, testing and coordinating production rollouts and other release management activities.

The individual will have the opportunity to play a critical role in a variety of highly visible Booking Model projects contributing to Citi’s commitment to effective Booking Model Management. Individual will participate in discussions to analyze requirements, propose and implement solutions and support system testing.


Technical Skills:

  • Oracle, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, aggregate Functions, Optimization

  • Data Modeling experience

  • Unix KSH

  • Big Data experience a plus

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • BE or MCA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in developing/architecting database solutions in financial sector with knowledge of data warehousing techniques

  • Proven hands-on expertise with Oracle database and internals

  • Experience with Unix KSH development

  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills

  • Knowledge of all tiers/components of a technical architecture

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Team Player who is willing to share ideas and accept feedback

  • Deployment of code to various environments

  • Participate in SIT and UAT calls, interact with quality assurance teams

  • Attend and resolve QC tickets/issues

  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

  • A motivated, self-directed, highly proactive attitude and approach.

Domain Skills:

  • Experience with Banking applications and process would be advantageous
