  • He/She will be solution lead for addressing the data & reporting needs for credit cards and loan business across APAC and

  • EMEA – he/she will own data assets/Business intelligence for the business vertical. He/she will work to design the cards

  • common data layers and build reporting cubes to deliver card/loan insights in Tableau. He/she will also enrich

  • cards/loan related data sources in our big data lake. He she will also own the creation and enhancement of reporting cubes

  • built over common layer and will work with regional business/DM partners to make them gold source for all business reporting

Responsibilities:

  • Work with AIM/Regional Business/DM Teams tech to ensure cards data in our data lake is available and is complete

  • Responsible for delivery of foundational common data layers (FCDL) for cards and loans – roll out FCDL across APAC & EMEA

  • Work with countries and AIM to define the logics for data elements in 360

  • Lead testing and deployment of card/loan data layers

  • Data Definitions: - work with tech to ensure all cards/loans data in lake has dictionary and lineage ; Own the development and maintenance of data dictionaries for domain area with established framework

  • Own and drive the roadmap for entire suite of Credit card/loan KPIs, reports and dashboards across APAC & EMEA

  • Partner with regional business teams/DM partners to define Cubes and groom them for data content (KPI/Dimension/Seniority, time series)

  • Work with AIM to script and test report visualizations in tableau

  • Partner with tech to stage reporting cubes into big data ecosystem for consumption

  • Data Definitions: - work with tech to ensure all cubes in lake have metric/dimension dictionary and logic 

  • Collaborate with the broader BI/Cards tech platform team and Technology to develop, optimize and align BI solutions to meet cards business needs - Ensure all data produced from cards PP’s/Big data use cases is ingested in data lake

  • Identify & work with technology to evaluate and pilot third party/external data sources that could enrich data lake for use in cards/loans big data use cases

  • Develop deep partnership with the cards product team and be the delivery-partner for KPIs related to new initiatives and product capabilities

  • Partner with risk to align and agree of common data ingestion and consumption  - ingest and commercialize data sources like bureau data for marketing


Qualifications
 

Skills:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Business Administration with expertise in Business Intelligence, Big Data and/or Analytics, Predictive modeling and data manipulation/extraction from huge/complex databases using SAS/SQL/R/Hadoop are required

  • At least 5 years of banking industry experience, especially credit card/lending business

  • Expert with Tableau and SQL, hands-on, obsess with using data to drive business decisions and passionate about building effective and engaging visualizations

  • Possess strong collaboration and influencing skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects and engagements to completion

  • Have a ‘Can do’ and ‘Get it done’ attitude – do whatever necessary and take full ownership of delivery

  • Must have capability to clearly communicate analyses. Presentations to both technical and non-technical personnel are required to be made frequently as part of the job

  • Comfortable engaging with business owners, DM partners and technology teams alike and have strong experience in translating business needs into measurable outcome
