The Citi Consumer Data & Analytics team consists of analytics professionals in the Singapore regional office, each country, as well as centers of excellence in Bangalore and Chennai. The team works across all areas of the bank to drive a customer-centric analytics agenda to accelerate business outcomes for all key stakeholders. This role is to be a member of that team.
Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Strategy and Transformation, the role will focus on implementing best practice in delivery of our major data and analytics programmes including emerging opportunities. The role encompasses maintenance and visibility of our book of work (portfolio management), development of a framework to consistently value and prioritize data initiatives (business cases), provide programme governance across the delivery cycle, hold teams accountable for their commitments and delivery, track the value of initiatives post release (benefits realization). The role is responsible for initiatives run out of the regional office as well as the books of work across 17 markets.
For this role, we are seeking a proven leader to own the portfolio management function for data and analytics initiatives.
Implement the methodologies and frameworks of best practice PMO to track entire data transformation across all lines of business and across all geographies
Take ownership for the agenda to clearly and consistently determining the relative value of data initiatives and manage the benefits realization across 17 markets and regional office
Assist identifying resource constraints and suggested trade-offs
Create visibility for the team, our stakeholders and internal delivery partners on the priorities and value of the work we are undertaking
Provide tools and forums to communicate regularly and widely on the status of programs and the value data and analytics is bringing to the organization
Implement a feedback cycle to ensure we continually learn from our project implementations and improve our delivery capabilities
Work across all teams in data and analytics as well as our stakeholders and technology and offshore partners to drive accountability and delivery and alignment
Develop valuation and assessment methodologies for emerging opportunities including a strong grasp both the feasibility and possibility of data use to drive a deeper agenda
Drive transparency of all data and analytics initiatives across region and 17 markets with a forward looking roadmap
Work across Citi’s project processes to ensure alignment but also to influence existing methodologies and templates to ensure that data and analytics opportunities and needs are considered in every Citi initiative
Knowledge of consumer banking business across all product lines and associated business acumen
Experience managing relationships across multiple geographies
Expert in project methodologies including waterfall and agile
Expert in project collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Demonstrated background in valuation and benefit realization
Demonstrated background in implementing data-driven initiatives across an organization
Experience in facilitation to influence multiple stakeholder requests to arrive at an organization-wide data and analytics prioritized book of work
Must possess and demonstrate a “delivery mind-set”
Minimum 10 years’ experience in running PMO initiatives
Able to clearly articulate complex strategies/techniques and ideas to senior management, with associated poise
Self-Motivated & accountable – demonstrated ability to follow through to execution
Outstanding Project Management Skills, ability to lead cross functional teams towards a common vision
Organized – can juggle multiple, potentially competing priorities with aplomb
