Description
 

  • The business lead will be responsible for ‘Real Time’ data for 17 consumer-banking markets in APAC and EMEA

  • He / She will own the data strategy for real time data including integration with channels, metadata, quality and latency

  • He / she will champion commercialization of real time data for marketing campaigns and data analytics use cases covering real time triggers, models and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Own all real time data ingestion into Big Data Ecosystem for 17 consumer markets in APAC / EMEA

  • Drive implementation of technology platforms to capture real time data – integration with channels / processors to absorb real time feeds

  • Partner with technology to Code of real time events including metadata associated with each event

  • Own data accuracy, data timeliness, and data completeness for real time feeds / metadata– design standards, tests to ensure integrity

  • Data Definitions: - work with tech to ensure all real time data has dictionary and lineage

  • Partner with technology to continuously assess and improve data platforms and manage data latency

  • Facilitate in market workshops to help local stakeholders prioritize against business outcome –

  • Drive adoption of real time data for marketing by influencing the country, regional stakeholders in both banking & cards businesses

  • Act as SME on features and adoption/usage for real time data

  • Engage with business and functional leaders in the organization to identify and scope real time data analytics capabilities that have value creation potential

  • Develop use cases for marketing / service opportunities for our banking & card products using real time data

  • Work with technology to deliver on real time data feeding marketing campaigns with effective planning, dependency management with both business and technology stakeholders

  • Work with countries to such use cases customer live with end to end effective testing of the use cases – design testing use cases to ensure through end to end testing

  • Develop real time dashboards to visualize real time feeds and generate ideas to commercialize such feeds

     


Qualifications
 

Skills

  • Master’s degree or above in Computer Science or Data Science

  • At least 7 years of experience in Data Analytics preferably in commercializing real time data for marketing campaigns

  • Hands-on experience working with real time data ingestion / consumption incl. working knowledge of streaming platforms

  • Experience with Big Data Platforms / Ecosystem (Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka) and integration strategies for real time data consumption

  • Strong people skills to navigate diverse perspectives and navigate multiple priorities

  • Able to derive cost benefit analysis / financial proposals for real time campaign ideas & use them for influencing senior business managers

  • Have a ‘Can do’ and ‘Get it done’ attitude – do whatever necessary and take full ownership of delivery

  • Ability to analyze project, program and portfolio needs, as well as to determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers

  • Innovative and strategic thinker who can assess rapidly changing technology and apply them to support and grow the business

  • Comfortable presenting to senior management
