Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions
(TTS) business offers a broad range of cash management and trade

information and dynamic, web-based tools to effectively manage their securities
portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chain around the
world. Combined with a worldwide network of dedicated and experienced

anywhere they do business.
The Treasury and Trade Solutions Sales Manager will be focused on
selling cash and trade management solutions to key institutional clients in New
Zealand including top tier NZ publically listed companies, global subsidiaries
of offshore multi-national corporates, and government/public sector agencies.
The successful applicant will be expected to build strong relationships
with key customer contacts, proactively source, grow pipeline and close new
opportunities, and partner with the coverage organisation to facilitate Citi’s
business goals in the NZ market.
Originate new business opportunities within a portfolio of existing large corporate and public sector clients through leveraging Citi’s global banking network and through cross-selling into adjacent sectors or companies, plus proactively prospect across new to firm companies
Develop and run an effective sales strategy and individual client plans tailored by industry and focused on growth opportunities
Utilise client data to proactively propose new innovative working capital and payments solutions and understand the wider ecosystem that clients participate in
Partner with international TTS sales and product teams and colleagues across Citi’s network to respond global cash and trade solutions in RFP and non-RFP situations
Accurately understand and scope client requirements to ensure successful hand-off to the implementation team
Actively participate in industry workshops, conferences and Citi events, demonstrate thought leadership through client testimonials, case studies, award submissions, and industry article, and keep abreast of market trends through continuous interaction with clients, coverage and product teams
Provide feedback to product partners to drive new product development and innovation
