Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst-19012023


  • To analyze requirements, write design or program specifications and estimates  and to be accountable for component delivery.

  • To design and code Java/J2EE applications to implement product features.

  • Provide design ideas to and contribute to defining product strategy.

  • Communicate and work closely with peer developers.

  • Adhere to defined programming standards and methods and complete detailed design and supporting documentation.



  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT and application development. Mandatory skill - UNIX, Oracle PL / SQL.

  • Skilled at Core Java or J2EE technologies.

  • Good command of spoken and written English.

  • Development experience with strong analytical and technical ability in Banking applications is preferred.

  • Skilled at Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, familiar with UML.

  • Solid knowledge and experience of software development lifecycle/procedures, and continuous process improvement.

  • Exceptional written and presentation skills with ability to work with people in remote locations.

  • Self-motivated and responsible, proactive and willing to take challenge.

  • Experience in partnering with a diverse team composed of staff and consultants located in multiple locations and time zones.

  • Can work under pressure, manage conflicts and innovate to find solutions to challenges.

  • Is results oriented.

  • Must demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
